Full Proposal

Removal of the existing red wall tile cladding and render the external face of all the external walls with additional insulation. The current wall thickness and insulation are inadequate to achieve the desired U-values for improved living conditions. We considered internal insulation, but this option would reduce internal space and incur higher costs to modify all the rooms. A more effective solution, considering the red tiles need maintenance or replacement with alternative cladding, is to render the entire house externally. We opted for wall rendering as it is common in the neighbouring area and provides better energy and heating efficiency for older walls. Please note that we have submitted a separate application under permitted development for the rear extension UTT/26/0012/CLP.
