Summary

Application to remove a large beech tree in side garden due to size and light loss.

Full Proposal

This application seeks the removal of the beech situated in the side garden of Wyngarth, Laycock Lane. The tree is located between the dwellings Wyngarth and 56 Laycock Lane. The tree is too large for its position between the two houses. It entirely fills the space between the dwellings and blocks light from the house and garden at Wyngarth. There are two further trees to the north of the beech in close proximity. One in the applicants garden, the other on a neighbours land. These trees will be unaffected and will contribute to the visual amenity of the conservation area, maintaining a view of trees between Wyngarth and 56 Laycock Lane from Laycock Lane. See attached photos taken 6/8/25 for context.
